Biographical/Historical Abstract: The Freshman Writing Program, inaugurated in 1970, intended to improve new students' written and oral English skills with writing labs, one-on-one instruction, and discussion sessions. In 2007 the program was renamed Rhetoric and Composition, offering writing courses focused on sharpening analytical and critical thinking skills.
Scope and Content Abstract: Materials include correspondence, reports, memoranda, and/or other forms of documentation pertaining to academic integrity, computer use and labs, core curriculum, curriculum development and assessment; correspondence with AUC offices and departments, faculty policies, department restructuring, and personnel files.
