Biographical/Historical Abstract:	AUC adopted a graduate program in Management in 1966 to fill a rapidly growing need in the Egyptian business world for modern management professionals. The Management Department was established in 1971, and a popular undergraduate major was formulated soon after. The Management Center assisted in the development of academic programs through the 1980s, when the program grew rapidly as Egypt experienced a wave of increasing emphasis on private enterprise. Today it is a well established and a dynamic department promising continued development.
Scope and Content Abstract:	Materials include correspondence, reports, memoranda, and/or other forms of documentation including correspondence with AUC offices and departments, department meetings, and personnel files.
